Weight
The volumetric weight of a consignment is calculated by multiplying
the physical dimensions of the consignment by a specific factor.
This ensures that large lightweight consignments are charged
based upon the space that they occupy rather than their actual
weight.
TNT uses the following equation to calculate whether an item
will be charged according to its statistical or volumetric volumetric
weight –whichever is greater. 体积重量

Calculate the volume of each package in metres,multiplying
length by height by width,with each dimension rounded up to
the nearest 0.0lm during calculation .Then multiply the figure
by the cubic conversion factor 167 to calculate the volumetric
weight.
The result should be rounded up to the next kilo or half kilo
for purposes of calculating the freight charge. 公式
